TrainerStack vs the apps you’ve heard of.
The same question for each: what does it cost an Australian trainer to run 20 clients with meal plans and payments, and what is included? Checked 8 October 2026 against each vendor’s own pages, with the places they beat us listed too.
TrainerStack vs Trainerize
Less than half the price, with the add-ons already in.
ABC Trainerize is the best-known coaching app on the market and a solid choice if you want a big marketplace of integrations. The catch for an Australian PT is that the base plan is only the start: meal planning, client payments and lead management are each separate add-ons, billed in US dollars plus GST.
Where TrainerStack wins
- One price. At the founding price, A$69 is about US$48, roughly a third of the Trainerize bundle above.
- Meal planning that fits a recipe to the meal target in one click, with the method in the client’s app.
- A real lead pipeline with forms, lead magnets and automations, not an add-on.
- Expenses with GST and receipts, so BAS time is an export, not a shoebox.
Where Trainerize wins
- A much larger integrations list (wearables, Zapier, MyFitnessPal) and a longer track record.
- A trainer mobile app with years of polish. TrainerStack’s trainer side runs in the browser.
- Group training and large-team features if you run a studio with several coaches.

Checked 8 October 2026 against trainerize.com’s own pricing page and help centre, monthly billing, list price. AUD figures convert their USD price at the RBA rate of 0.6956 USD per AUD on 8 October 2026, rounded to the dollar; the amount on your statement will follow your bank’s rate on the day. TrainerStack’s A$69 is the founding-member price for the first 100 trainers, ex GST; the regular price is A$99. “Not on their published plans” means we could not find it in their published material on that date, not that it does not exist. Prices change; check theirs on the day.

TrainerStack vs Everfit
Flat price, and 0% on top of Stripe.
Everfit has one of the most generous free tiers in the category, five clients for nothing, and a clean coaching app. The costs arrive as you grow: meal plans and payments are add-ons, the plan steps up with every client band, and Everfit sets its own card fee on top of Stripe’s.
Where TrainerStack wins
- One flat price that does not step up at client 21, 51 or 101.
- Your clients’ card payments cost Stripe’s rate and nothing more.
- Meal plans fitted per ingredient, not by whole servings.
- Leads, forms and a booking page included, with no revenue share.
Where Everfit wins
- A free-forever plan for five clients. If you are just starting and have no need for payments or meal plans, it is hard to beat free.
- A trainer mobile app and a large exercise video library out of the box.
- Per-client pricing is cheaper than A$69 if you coach fewer than about ten people and never add the add-ons.

TrainerStack vs Kahunas
A recipe library in the client’s app, and unlimited clients for less.
Kahunas is a well-built online coaching app with a low entry price and no commission on payments. If your client list is small and you are happy uploading PDF recipes, it is good value. The gaps show up on nutrition, on the business side, and once you pass 50 clients.
Where TrainerStack wins
- A recipe library with the method in the client’s app, instead of PDFs.
- Unlimited clients for A$69 instead of $99.
- Lead forms, automations and a booking page on the one plan, not from the second tier up.
- Expenses with GST and receipts, and a 30-day trial with no card.
Where Kahunas wins
- Price for a small client list: $35 a month for up to 25 clients is less than our founding price.
- A trainer mobile app and a branded client app option.
- PayPal as well as Stripe for client payments.

TrainerStack vs HubFit
Payments, meal plans and a lead pipeline on the one plan.
HubFit is a capable coaching platform with a smart meal planner and a branded-app option for larger operations. Read the plan table carefully, though: payments and the meal planner only start on Premium, there is no lead management by their own description, and everything is billed in US dollars.
Where TrainerStack wins
- Payments on the only plan we have, on the Stripe account you already use.
- Lead forms, a pipeline and automations, which HubFit says it is not built for.
- A calorie and macro calculator inside the app, and meal plans fitted per ingredient.
- Expenses with GST and receipts, priced in Australian dollars.
Where HubFit wins
- A fully branded client app under your own name, for an extra US$189 a month.
- Plans that scale to 500 clients with team features, if you run a large online operation.
- A trainer mobile app.
