TrainerStack vs PTminder
Priced in Australian dollars, with the parts PTminder never built.
PTminder is a long-running trainer platform, built in Auckland and now part of Xplor Technologies: calendar and class bookings, packages and memberships, payments through Stripe, Ezidebit, Debitsuccess or GoCardless, a workout planner, a nutrition planner, invoices, expenses and reports, with a client app on iOS and Android. Its 50 Client plan is one of the few base prices in the category close to ours. The gaps are in what has not been built: no enquiry forms or lead pipeline, no recipes or macro targets, no check-ins, and a product updates page whose newest entry is February 2020.
Where TrainerStack wins
- Priced in Australian dollars, A$69 against roughly A$85, with 30 days to try it instead of 14.
- A lead pipeline with enquiry forms, lead magnets and automations, which PTminder does not list at any price.
- Meal plans with recipes, macro targets and a one-click Recalculate, and a food diary in the client app.
- Check-ins, progress photos and a weekly review, not just an assessment log.
- Expenses with GST split out and receipts attached, so BAS time is an export.
- A product that ships most weeks. PTminder’s newest published update is February 2020.
Where PTminder wins
- A client app on Android as well as iOS, and a branded app for USD $40 a month.
- Bank debit through Ezidebit or Debitsuccess, plus GoCardless, PaySmart and PayPal, alongside Stripe.
- Classes with check-in, SMS reminders, Google Calendar sync and family accounts.
- Up to 20 trainers or staff on every plan, with payroll reports, if you run a studio.
- A price that stays at $59 all the way to 50 clients, close to ours even after conversion.

Checked 26 October 2026 against ptminder.com’s own pricing page and help centre, monthly billing, list price. AUD figures convert their USD price at the RBA rate of 0.6956 USD per AUD on 8 October 2026, rounded to the dollar; the amount on your statement will follow your bank’s rate on the day. TrainerStack’s A$69 is the founding-member price for the first 100 trainers, ex GST; the regular price is A$99. “Not on their published plans” means we could not find it in their published material on that date, not that it does not exist. Prices change; check theirs on the day.
