The Members tab

Open Members under Coaching in the left menu. If you have no members yet, the list tells you how to get some: mark an online offer as Self-serve member under Marketing → Offers & store and switch it to Live.

Members

The Members section lists every member, live ones first and cancelled ones at the end. Each row shows:

• their name, whether they are Active (a store plan of theirs is running) or Cancelled, and their email, with the day they joined;
• the program they are running now, with the date they started it, or No program running;
• their groups, with Members and any custom groups you have put them in.

Type in the Search members box to find someone by name, email, program or group, and use All / Active / Cancelled to narrow the list. A member is subscribed or not; there is no away state to set, and their status follows their plan. Open goes to their profile; Move to clients puts them on your client roster when they upgrade to coaching. Their plan, app access and history do not change.

Retention

Retention is worked out from your members' store plans and shows the last twelve months three ways: Members over time (how many members you had at the end of each month), Joined and cancelled (how many joined and how many cancelled, in the month it happened) and Churn (the share of the month's opening members who cancelled). Hover any month for all of its figures, and click Show the figures as a table for the numbers behind the charts:

A member who renews onto a new plan the day the old one ends is counted once, not as a leave and a join. The figures at the top are how many members you have now, how many joined and cancelled in the last twelve months, how long current members have been with you on average, and how long members who have left stayed on average. The current month is still filling in; the table marks it so far.

Programs

Programs lists the templates you have switched Available to members, with how many members are running each one and when the last one started. The switch here is the same one as on Programs → Templates: switch a program off and it leaves the library for new starts, but members already running it keep going until they stop it or finish. To add a program to the library, switch it on under Programs.

Where members come from

A buyer becomes a member when the offer they buy is marked Self-serve member under Who they become in the offer editor. The purchase puts them in the built-in Members group, which decides what their app shows; see Client groups and app features. Members pick their own programs from the library in the app, as described in Sell offers from your store.
