Sell offers from your store
Turn on a public store page, put offers on sale, and let people buy and pay without you adding them first.
How to sell session packs, subscriptions and programs from a public store page in TrainerStack. A buyer opens the link, fills in their name and email, pays through Stripe, and arrives in My Clients with their plan, an app invite and an onboarding flow already started.
Your store is the public page at /store/<your-link>. It lists the offers you have put on sale, and each one has its own page with a Buy form. It needs Stripe connected, because the buyer pays through your Stripe account the moment they sign up.
Before you start
- Connect Stripe under Settings → Integrations. A store cannot take payments without it.
- Write your offers under Marketing → Offers & store. Only offers collected by Stripe can be sold online; casual and manual-collection offers stay off the store.
- If you want new buyers to get your intake questionnaire and welcome steps automatically, set up a flow under My Clients → Onboarding first.
Set up the store
- Open Marketing. The Offers & store tab is the first one.
- Click Set up store. It starts Live, named after your business.
- Change the Title, the Link and the line about what you sell, then click Save.
- Copy the link from the top of the page. It also works as a card on your link page: edit a card and choose Store, or one offer, under Goes to.
Put an offer on sale
- In the Offers on sale list, switch Public on for the offer.
- Check the Offer link. It is made from the offer's name and you can change it.
- Choose what happens after they pay: a specific onboarding flow, or leave it on your default flow.
- Use the arrows to order the offers as you want them shown.
Send an offer to one person
On a lead's drawer and on a client's Billing & Sessions tab there is a Send offer button. Pick an offer that is on sale, add a line of your own, and they get a branded email with the offer and a link to its page. A lead's purchase lands on their lead record; a client's lands on their profile.
Assign a program when they buy
In the offer editor, Program to assign when they buy copies one of your program templates onto the buyer the moment their first payment lands, alongside the onboarding flow. Use it for a self-run program sold from the store.
What the buyer sees
The store page with your branding, each offer with what it costs today and after, and an offer page with a form for their name, email and mobile. Buy takes them to Stripe to pay. Expiry dates, program end dates and instalment dates are counted from the day they buy.
Clients and members
Each offer says who a buyer becomes, under Who they become in the offer editor for online offers. A Coached client lands on your client roster as usual. A Self-serve member runs the program or app subscription themselves: they have the app, their programs and their billing, but they sit under My Clients → Members and stay out of your check-in rosters, session counts and other coaching lists. Move to clients on a member puts them on the roster when they upgrade.
What happens when they buy
- If the email belongs to one of your clients already, the plan goes on that client.
- Otherwise a lead is created from the Store source and a client with the plan awaiting payment, the same as when you send a payment link yourself. You get a notification either way.
- When the first payment lands, the plan goes Active, the lead is marked converted, the buyer is emailed an app invite, and they are enrolled in the onboarding flow.
- A checkout that is never paid is tidied away after two days: the pending plan goes, and so does the client row if the store created it and nothing else happened. The lead stays, so you can follow up.
If it is not working
- "This trainer is not taking online payments right now". Stripe is not connected or not finished verifying. See Connect Stripe.
- An offer will not switch to Public. It is casual or collected manually. Open the offer and change it to Stripe.
- The offer page says it is not available. The store is off, or the offer is archived or no longer public.
- "That link is already taken". Store links are unique across all trainers; offer links are unique within your store.
- A buyer paid but is not in My Clients. Give it a minute; the plan activates when Stripe confirms the payment. Then check Needs attention on the dashboard.
