Share your enquiry form
Find your public enquiry link, put it where prospects will see it, and edit the questions.
How to find and share your public enquiry form, the link prospects use to ask about personal training with you, and how to edit the questions it asks. Enquiries land in your leads pipeline with the PAR-Q ready to send.
Your enquiry form is how a prospect asks about training with you. Everyone who fills it in lands in your pipeline under My Leads, and you get a notification. A form called "Personal Training Enquiry" was created for you when you signed up, so you can share it straight away.
Steps
- Open My Leads in the sidebar and click the Forms tab.
- On your form, click Copy Link. It briefly changes to "Copied".
- Paste the link into your Instagram bio, your website, your Google Business profile, or a message to a prospect. The New Lead button in the top bar opens the same form in a new tab if you want to see it.
- To change the questions, click Edit. Add questions with + Add Question, choose a type (short text, long text, number, single or multiple choice, yes or no), reorder with the arrows, and click Save Changes.
What you should see
- The prospect sees a page in your branding with your form title, a description, and a Submit My Inquiry button.
- When they submit, a new lead appears in Pipeline with the status New and the source "Enquiry form". Their answers are shown under Goals in the lead drawer.
- You get an in-app notification titled "New Lead" and an email, unless you have turned off New lead email alerts under Settings → Notifications.
If it is not working
- "Trainer not found" when someone opens the link. The form has been deactivated. Open the Forms tab and click Activate.
- The link changed after I renamed the form. The link is built from the form title, so renaming a form changes its link and any old links stop working. Keep the title stable once you have shared it, or share the fallback link shown at the bottom of the Forms tab, which always points at your newest active form.
- "Failed to save form." Usually the title clashes with another form. Try a more specific title.
- Submissions are not coming through. Your form must keep a First Name and an Email question. If you removed either, submissions fail.
- A "Scale (rating)" question shows nothing on the public form. That type is for check-ins. Use Single Choice or Number on an enquiry form instead.
- Prospects do not get a reply. The form itself sends nothing to the prospect. Turn on the New enquiry welcome automation under Automations to send one automatically. See Email automations.
Advanced forms: one page at a time
When you click New Form you choose between a Basic form, with every question on one page, and an Advanced form. An advanced form shows one page at a time with a progress bar, and lets you put text, a picture or a video between questions. Each page, and each block on a page, can have a rule so it only appears when an earlier answer matches: ask about an injury only when someone said they have one, or show a different intro to people who picked online coaching.
- Click New Form, then Advanced form. It starts with three pages: name, contact details, and goals.
- Each numbered card is a page. Give it a title if you like, then use Add to put a Question, Text, Picture or Video on it. Pictures open in a frame where you drag and zoom them into place.
- To make a page conditional, click Add a rule under Show this page only when and pick the earlier question, the comparison, and the answer. A block has the same control inside its editor. With more than one rule you choose whether all or any must be true.
- The preview on the right is the real form. Answer it as a prospect would to watch the rules work.
- Click Create form. Share the link from the top of the editor.
Only the questions a person was actually shown are saved as their answers, so a hidden follow-up never appears as a blank in their lead. Rules can only look at questions that come earlier, and the editor tells you if one looks ahead.
